Christian Hahn, born and raised in picturesque Upper Austria, has been living in Tamshiyacu, Peru for over 10 years now where he founded the camp "Transformacion Interior". Christian was an entrepreneur for many years and gained a variety of experiences during that time. After a near-fatal car accident at the age of 25, his life led him to Peru.
The first years were mainly focused on working on himself. Gradually, with the guidance of his teacher Don Pedro Guerre, a traditional indigenous healer of the Amazon, Christian delved deeper into the ancient teachings of shamanic medicine work and the healing energy of plants. Over the last 10 years, he has been taught knowledge that Europeans or foreign people usually don't have access to, as it is traditionally passed down only within the family circle.
The last and most important step on his journey at that time was the three-year strict diet he completed alone in a hut in the Peruvian rainforest. During this strict spiritual diet, he lived in complete isolation and deepened his knowledge and connection to the ancient teachings of plant medicine and Amazonian shamanism.
What began as a journey for his own healing quickly led to the realization that he was allowed to pass on this knowledge and his abilities to support people on their path of growth and clarity. This happens in the peaceful and protected environment of his camp "Transformation Interior" as well as at seminars in Europe.
Through his European roots and knowledge of the challenges our society faces, he is able to build a bridge between the ancient shamanic teachings of the Amazon and our modern Western society.
THE CAMP
...exploring your innermost being
The healing camp "Transformation Interior" is a place of tranquility and adventure, a retreat to rediscover oneself. It is located just a few kilometers from the "shamanic capital" of Iquitos in the Peruvian rainforest, near the peaceful village of Tamshiyacu on the Amazon river.
The absolute seclusion in the middle of the rainforest, combined with European standards for accommodation and service, provides the ideal framework to fully concentrate on personal transformation and healing processes. The camp can accommodate up to 10 people, who can be accommodated in 6 cabins. Each cabin has running drinking water from its own source, a shower and a toilet, as well as its own veranda with a hammock and mosquito net.
A breathtaking natural pool, also called Piscina, forms the heart of the camp and is centrally located amidst the lush nature.

Efrain is there for you around the clock in the camp. Besides the maintenance work around the camp, he and his family are also taken care of the well-being of the guests. They are long-time friends of Christian and have been accompanying him on his path for several years. Efrain grew up in the rainforests of the Amazon and has a profound knowledge of the healing properties of plants and the laws of nature.
The members of the Austrian organisation team themselves have years of experience with plant medicine and strict spiritual diets. Due to their experience they can always answer any open questions in advance or give you useful tips for travel preparations or preparations for the special seminars. Our local team will be happy to accompany you before and after your process
